Below are math addition centers. Our first is a review of counting numbers in and organized manner and writing the number of dots that appear on the domino.
In the next center, the children are introduced to Add A Frog. This is an addition review game. The children read the example on the card. For example 3+5 the children first place 3 frogs in the yellow-sectioned out boxes that number to ten. Then add 5 more in and figure out how many are now in all.
In the next center the children have addition cards with examples. If for example the card read 5+2, the children place 5 circle pieces by the 5 and 2 pieces near the 2, then sweep to place them in the total box and say 7.
For our last center we have introduced for now the children have two spinners. They spin one spinner and it lands on a number. Under the spinner is a leaf. The children place the number amount of ladybugs they landed on and put them on the leaf. They do the same for the second spinner and leaf. Then they count how many ladybugs they have all together.
