The Seder Plate

At the seder, we have a plate called a Ke'arah which has symbolic food which remind us of different parts of the Pesach story.

Kindergarten learned about the seder plate and had a chance to create their own. These seder plates will be included in their hagadah, so look out for it at home over Pesach.

Morah Rochel Leah helped us with this activity, Morah Sharon and Morah Rochel Leah were so proud of how all the friends knew just where to place each item on the seder plate. Using the sounds in the labels, and the example as a guide, everybody did such a great job.

The first step of the seder is KADESH. We make kiddush on the first cup of wine. Here we are decorating our KADESH page, making a silver kiddush cup.
