Last FRIDAY, Nov 1st, Kindergarten went to the Senior Center with , grade 1 and grade 2 to give out Challah!!
We sang some Shabbos songs and all of the people were so happy we came to visit. It was a big mitzvah.
Thanks so much to all the mums who helped to baked the 150 challos we handed out. They were baked during Loaves of Love last week by many volunteers. We were so excited to bring the Shabbos spirit to so many friends.
We also made a BIRTHDAY PARTY for Morah Rochel Leah on the same day! What a fun Friday. All of the kindergarten friends decorated her card, we gave tzedakah and learned all about celebrating a Jewish Birthday. We can't wait to celebrate more birthdays in our class soon.
