Kindergarten was so lucky to have a visit from Rabbi Okunov, the sofer. He showed us his tools, the quill, black ink and parchment he writes with. He was very impressed with how much we had already learned.
We saw how tefillin is made and written, the scrolls inside the mezuzah, megilla and he even wrote down the Hebrew name of two Kindergarten friends on parchment for them to take home. Thanks so much for an amazing visit.
