Sukkos was a blast!!

All classes had a chance to eat in the sukkah every day!

It seems like last week was a lifetime ago because so much has happened since then.
We had so much fun at our SUKKOS RALLY.

We loved the pizza lunch too.

Kindergarten was so lucky to be trusted in looking after a special Sukkos painting. Nicole and her family brought beautiful artwork to hang in our room for the whole month. Unwrapping the painting was so exciting. It is still hanging up in our classroom where we are taking good care of it. Thank you so much!

At the Sukkos rally, every child had a turn to shake the lulav and make a delicious sukkah out of graham crackers, marshmellow fluff, and candy!! YUM

We each designed our very own edible sukkah

We learned the bracha for shaking the lulav. We were finally able to do the mitzvah with a real one.
Kindergarten were very careful and gentle with the esrog, the pitom stayed in tact.

Simchas Torah!

For Simchas Torah, each student made their very own flag. We cut open the doors to the aron and the Torahs peeked through.
We decorated it with stickers, jewels and tissue paper and drew a picture on the back of ourselves dancing with the Torah.

It was a little bit tricky, but everybody did a great job and tried so hard. Morah Sharon was very proud of how we followed the instructions.

We learned that on Simchas Torah we finish reading the Torah and start it all over again. Our class ready to start learning the weekly Parsha stories and bringing them home to share.
